Evelyn L. Perkins

Evelyn Louise Perkins was born on June 25, 1924 in Pickerel Lake Township the daughter of Fred and Anna Stern Schmidt. She attended District #124 school. Evelyn was united in marriage to Arnold C. Perkins at Concordia Pickerel Lake Lutheran Church. She has been a lifelong resident of Freeborn County where she was a homemaker and hairdresser. Evelyn enjoyed fishing, playing cards and spending time with her family. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, the VFW auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary. Survivors include her son, David and wife Marsha Perkins, LaMont, IA. Grandchildren; Jacob and Derick Perkins, Austin and wife Jennie and son Nolan Perkins. Sister-in-law, Lillian Perkins, special longtime friend Leonard Meyer and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold, son Mark and wife Barb Perkins, siblings; Ernie and wife Millis Schmidt, Alvin and wife Ora Schmidt, George and wife Alice Schmidt, Marie and Alvin Tostenson, Hulda and Ervin Olson and Milford Perkins.
