Evelyn C Morreim

Evelyn C. Morreim was born on March 8, 1911 in Manchester Township, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Norby) Morreim. She attended School District #19 and graduated from the eighth grade. After school, she worked as a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell. Evelyn lived in Newton, IA for several years before moving to Colorado Springs, CO. There, she worked for Hillbridge Department Store. She returned to this area in 1981, and lived in the Channel View Apartments. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, and enjoyed reading and sewing. Blessed be her memory.
Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Esther Brynestad, Palma Johnson, Anna Madson, Noretta Bauman, and Mildred in infancy; and her brothers Oscar, Carlyle, and Elmer Morreim.
