Evelyn Rose Brabec Faltus was born on Jan. 21, 1920 in Myrtle, MN., the daughter of Ignatz and Rose (Krikava) Brabec. She attended and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1938. On May 6, 1939 she was united in marriage to Frank Faltus at the Little Brown Church, Nahua, IA. Evelyn worked at the Sperry-Hutchinson Green Stamp Store in Albert Lea and also as a homemaker. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church in Lake Mills, IA., and active in the church circles. Evelyn was secretary for the Iowa Care Review for the Lake Mills Care Center, and a member of the Western Fraternal Lodge #44 where she was President at one time. She enjoyed reading, loved to travel (having visited every country in the world) Evelyn had a great love for animals and spending time on the farm.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie E. Coffman, grandchildren; Thomas Coffman and JoEllen Coffman. Evelyn has many nieces and nephews who were very important to her throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank Faltus, brothers; Edward (Annie) Brabec, Joseph (Gladys) Brabec and Milo (Henrietta) Brabec. Daughter, Donna Rae Faltus
