Eunice Theodora Kuiters was born on January 9, 1920, to Emil and Matilda Brand Ruhnke in Hardin County, Iowa. She moved to Minnesota with her family in 1925. Eunice attended school in Hollandale and graduated from Albert Lea High School. She married Harry Kuiters on December 29, 1938 at Harry's parents home in rural Hollandale. She and Harry farmed together for many years in the Hollandale and Clarks Grove areas. Eunice was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church where she was active as a choir member and taught the junior girls Sunday school class. She also was an associate member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winter Garden, Florida where she and Harry spent their winters. Eunice loved gardening and sewing. Survivors include her husband, Harry; daughters, Judy Bill Moser of Cedarville, OH and Jane Jim Mone of Bloomington, MN; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Adeline Spain of Albert Lea, and Marilyn Wolf of Chatsworth, California; and sister-in-law Thelma Ruhnke of Midland, Texas. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughters Sheryl Moser and Susan Phillips, sisters, Beatrice Weseman and Maxine Bredlow; and brother, Butch Ruhnke. Memorials are preferred to the Faith Baptist Church.
