Eunice Marion Jensen

Eunice Marion Jensen was born on May 20, 1915 to Charles and Hannah Jensen Christensen in Manchester, MN. She was baptized by Rev. I Fredmund on March 31, 1929. Eunice graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1934. She worked in the office department for the Albert Lea Clinic until her marriage to Alva C. Jensen on June 22, 1968. Eunice was very active at Calvary Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, helped with Awana, attended Adult Sunday School and was active in her circle. Eunice moved from her home to Thornecrest apartments in 1993. She was very active participating and helping others with various retirement community activities. She especially enjoyed bowling and craft time. Eunice was an avid Viking and Twins fan and guess what, the Twins won on May 25, 2008. Survivors include her sisters, Beatrice Paulson, Helen Coonradt, and Dorothy Farnham, all of Albert Lea; nieces and nephews, Charles Carla Coonradt, Park City, UT, Mary Richard Leklem Ironwood, MI, David Paulette Paulson, Albert Lea, MN, Jane Dan Johnson of Albert Lea, MN; great-nieces and nephews, Christina Chad Bowers and their children Charlie and Carson of Las Vegas, NV, Kelly Kyle Starkey of Salt Lake City, UT, Cody Linzy Coonradt and their daughter Londyn of Salt Lake City, UT, Christian Coonradt and fiance Cristina Krowder of Salt Lake City, UT, Emily Leklem and fiancé Seth Will of Milwaukee, WI, Nicholas Paulson of Champaign, IL, Betsy Nathan Smith of Waterloo, IA, Kristin Joe Senholtz and their children Ellie and Aaron of Albert Lea, Beth Justin Blake and their son Blair of Albert Lea, step-daughter Mrs. Paul Berlyn Rietveld of Kelliher, MN; step-daughter-in-law, Linda Donavon Newfeld of Turlock, CA; step-grandchildren, Peter Becky Rietveld and children, Leah, Anna, Elise and Elena of Rochester, MN, Tom Melanie Rietveld and children Delaney, Paul, Amy Kate of Bemidji, MN, Adelyn Brian Canfield and children Grace and Josie of Bemidji, MN, Mike Carrie Jensen of Redlands, CA, Christopher Carrie Jensen and son Justin of Wheatridge, CO, Megan D.J. Ruskjer, Littleton, CO; Eunice was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Hannah Christensen; brother, Paul in infancy; husband, Alva Jensen; step-son, Alva Jensen, Jr.; sister, Shirley Imme; brothers-in-law, Les Sorensen, Earl "Red" Imme, Ken Coonradt, Blair Farnham, Robert Paulson; nephew, Steven Paulson and great-nephew, Christopher Coonradt.
