Ethel Agnes Kilian was born March 12, 1923, to Amos and Olivia Jolson Farr in Geneva. She grew up in the Geneva area and attended school there. On July 6, 1941, Ethel was united in marriage to Raymond Kilian in Gettysburg, South Dakota. She was employed at Northpark for many years. Ethel was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Eagle's Auxiliary. She especially enjoyed visiting with friends and family. Survivors include her husband, Raymond of Albert Lea; son, Richard of Albert Lea; daughters, Louise Fox of Albert Lea and Dianne and her husband, Harlan Thom of Minneapolis; grandchildren: Rick and his wife, Sharon Kilian of Maine, Kristin Kilian of Albert Lea, Lori and her husband, Victor Alexander of Washington, Kimberly and her husband, Robert Lamp of Albert Lea, Kevin Fox of Albert Lea, Amy and her husband, Dar Barcomb of North Carolina, and Derrick Rollins of Wisconsin; great-grandchildren: Brian, Seth, Jacob, Devin, and Rylie; sisters, Luella Thompson of Britt, IA, and Orlie and her husband, Lowell Haug of Austin; sister-in-law, Beverly Farr of Geneva; and nieces and nephews. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Robert Kilian; great-grandson, Daniel Rollins; sister, Isabel and her husband, Lester Kilian; and brother Amos Farr.
