Emma R. Hautt

Emma Rose Hautt was born on November 27, 1921 to Robert and Rose Newmann Michaelis in rural New Richland. Emma attended Waseca Country School. She was united in marriage to Raymond Hautt on August 26, 1943 in Gordonsville, MN. Emma was employed at Land-O-Lakes and enjoyed being a housewife. She became a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Albert Lea in 1948 where she was in the Sew & Tell group. Emma enjoyed crocheting, reading, and especially enjoyed going for walks outside. Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Hautt of Albert Lea; family beagle, Abby; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray; son Richard in March of 1958; and 14 brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
