Eloise Reeder Jenson was born December 9, 1915 to Evelyn Hellie and Elmer Reeder in rural Freeborn County. She attended rural schools and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1933. She lived all of her life in Freeborn County except for a short time in California and Wisconsin. In 1937, Eloise was united in marriage to Clive Jenson in Northwood. During the 1950's Eloise worked as a secretary at the Wells Municipal Hospital. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church, a member of the UMW and a church circle. She was a member of the Freeborn County Historical Society and a volunteer at the Albert Lea Art Center. She enjoyed story telling, reading, crossword puzzles, birds, and gardening. Eloise brought a smile to everyone she met. She treated people with kindness. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great great grandchildren. Whether it was learning how to play a Gameboy, dressing Barbies, or playing a mean game of cards, Eloise loved to spend time with them and they with her. She leaves behind her loving daughter and friend, Anne Marie and her husband Raymond Troska; grandchildren Ellen and her husband Keith Anderson, Michael and his wife Joni Troska, Joel Troska, Thomas Troska, and Sara and her husband David Reindal; great-grandchildren Kelly and her husband Brad Peissig, Matthew, Lindsay, and Kari Troska, Jennifer Harnack, Daniel and David Troska, and Nick, Sam, and Christine Reindal; great-great-grandchildren Brianna Passofaro, and Kallan and Macy Marie Peissig; and her brother Ralph and his wife Darlene Reeder. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clive in 1989, her daughter Sue Ellen and her brother Dick Reeder.
