Elizabeth M. Siemer

Elizabeth M. Siemer was born on December 10, 1916 in Le Mars, Iowa. On January 11, 1938, she married Alvin Siemer in Marshall, Iowa. They celebrated their love for 58 years before Alvin was called to his eternal home in 1997. Betty was a homemaker all of her life with the exception of nine years when she worked for her daughter at Mrs. Gerry's. In 1997 she moved to Knutson Place. She loved Knutson Place and all of the people there. You would need an appointment to see her, she was always out visiting with her many friends, or we would find her in a card game. She loved playing 500. Survivors include her daughters, Gerry Vogt and her husband Jerry, of Albert Lea, and Clarice Moen and her husband John, of Tenstrike, MN; sons Quentin Siemer and his wife Alvina of Tucson, AZ, and Gary Siemer, of Elgin, MN; 15 grandchildren; 27great-grandchildren; sisters Helen and Louise; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvin, a grandson, five brothers and two sisters.
