Eleanor Edna Aldrich was born on November 10, 1921 to Ernest and Elizabeth Schroeder Woker in Meridan, MN. She attended Morristown Public Schools. On February 16, 1940 Eleanor was united in marriage to Chester Aldrich in Northwood, IA. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Myrtle, MN and a member of the Glenville American Legion Auxiliary Post #264. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. Survivors include her children, Sandra and husband Ken Elwood, Jerry and wife Harriet Aldrich, Dwight and wife Eloise Aldrich, Donna Aldrich and special friend Charles Johnson, Wanda and husband Mark Julson, and Debra and husband Duane Broitzman; 27 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren; sister Ernestine Meschke; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Aldrich Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester; and infant sons, Curtis, Chester, and James; and brother-in-law, Donald Meschke.
