Elaine Pearl Struck passed away on October 15, 2019 at Bancroft Creek Estates at Good Samaritan.
Elaine was born on January 18, 1932 to Clarence and Lenore (Becker) Will. She attended District #77 school. On November 24, 1950, Elaine married Duane Struck at Bethlehem Lutheran parsonage. Together they raised their family and farmed. After raising her family, she worked at Good Samaritan for several years. She was in the laundry department and then moved to house keeping. After retiring from Good Samaritan, she did daycare in her home.
Elaine was skilled at many things. She made greeting cards, quilted and had a marvelous garden. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching the Minnesota Twins and spending time with family and friends; especially her precious grandchildren.
Before moving to Albert Lea, Elaine was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Once they moved, Elaine and Duane joined Ascension Lutheran Church where she was an active member in the women's group and working at many church events.
Elaine is survived by her children LeAnn (Rick) Zerck of Albert Lea, Larry (Debbie) of Twin Lakes, and Lola (John) Evans of Albert Lea; grandchildren Brad (Jessi) of Myrtle, Kristin (Rick) Rice of Glenville, Wayne Zerck of Fargo, ND, Misty of Rochester, Nicole (Justin) Rohe of Woodbury, Kammi (Tyson) Werner of West Des Moines, IA, Adam (Jodi) Evans of Coon Rapids, and Tim (Amanda) Evans of Hopkins; great-grandchildren Collin, Ele and Sophie, Abel and Owen Rohe, Micah Werner, Chloe, Olivia, and Eli Guthrie, and Evelyn Evans; brother Dennis (Kathryn) Will; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by husband Duane; parents Clarence and Lenore; brothers Hillis and Glen; stillborn granddaughter, baby Zerck; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ruby and Kermit Ringoen; niece Lori Rickard; nephews Ronald, Marvin, and Bob Ringoen.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff for their outstanding care at Bancroft Creek Estates and Albert Lea Hospice.
