Edward Felix Rogers was born on October 13, 1919 to Antonio and Ignacia Vasquez Rodriguez in Waldo, New Mexico. He grew up in Denver, CO. Edward served in the United States Army during WWII in the Asiatic Pacific theater and received the Bronze Star. Edward was united in marriage to Cecilia Luna on November 26, 1960 at St. Mary's Church in Newry, MN. He was employed at Wilson & Co. for many years in the hog kill. In the 60's and 70's he also had a band "Little Eddie and his Orchestra". He was a member of the Church of St. Theodore, a lifetime member of the VFW and former member of the Musicians Union. Edward enjoyed camping and fishing, going out to eat, especially Chinese. He also enjoyed gardening, playing his guitar, and visiting with family and friends. Edward loved staying busy by volunteering for projects with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Cecilia; daughters, Monica Mario Sr. Baltazar, and Teresa Rodney Peterson; son, Anthony Mary Rogers; grandchildren, Lisa, Teresa, and Cory Rogers, Mario Baltazar, Jr. Robryta, Bailey and Zachary Peterson, Sarah Nate Kemmer, Kaitlyn and Allison Rogers; and great-grandchild, Andreya Galindo. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Raymond and Clyde Rogers; a daughter in infancy; and grandson, Cory Peterson.
