Dwight Eugene Miller was born August 12, 1924, to Edward and Ida Johnson Miller in Bath Township. He graduated from Ellendale High School. On June 30, 1946, Dwight was united in marriage to Betty Johannsen at the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church. The couple lived and farmed on their homestead in Hartland for over 55 years and had dairy cows for over 25 years. Dwight enjoyed all aspects of the farming life. He was a member of Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, a past President of the Hartland Creamery Board, and a supervisor on the Hartland Township Board for 17 years. Survivors include his wife, Betty of Hartland; son, Thomas and wife, Debbie of Green Bay, WI; daughter, Karen and husband, Don Lillesve of Kasson; grandchildren: Kerry and husband, Mark Hanson, Kristin and husband, Paul Nesbitt, Cayce and husband, Chris Gulbransen, and Cory Lillesve; great-grandchildren: Grace Hanson, Nicholas Hanson, and Kaylin Nesbitt; brother, Edward and wife, Arlene Miller; sisters: Ethel and husband, Vernon Reistad, Phyllis and husband, Milburn Nelson, and Eileen and husband, LaVerne Seberson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents. All of Dwight's sisters and brother have been married for 55 years or more and still have their spouses. The family has truly been blessed and will miss Dwight as a husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
