Douglas M. Blouin

Douglas M. Blouin, 61, of Ellendale, MN passed away December 8, 2021 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 2pm at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home, Albert Lea. Reverend Kyle Smith will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday (12/15). Burial will be at 1st Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ellendale, MN.

Douglas Michael Blouin was born in Owatonna, MN on March 11, 1960 to George and Jean (Matthies) Blouin. Doug attended and graduated from Ellendale and remained living in the area until his passing.
Doug worked for many years at Streaters in Albert Lea. He was a member of 1st Lutheran Church in Ellendale. Doug enjoyed fishing, hunting, wildlife of all kinds and riding his Harley. He really enjoyed collecting metal and scrapping through the years.
Doug is survived by his son, Cody and Cody’s daughter Aurora Levi-Ann; his daughter, Sarah Zamora and her children Jordan, Taylor, Lucien, and Isabella; brothers, Jerry (Tanya), Curt (Audrey), Craig, and Chris (Stacey); and many nieces and nephews.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, George and Jean; son, Levi Lucas Blouin; brother, Dennis Blouin, and three sisters at birth.
