Dorothy Bauers

Dorothy Bauers, 87, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Campus in Albert Lea, MN. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Dorothy Bauers was born on August 17, 1937 in Albert Lea, MN to Adolph and Elizabeth Srsen. She graduated from Owatonna High School in 1955. On June 14, 1969, she married Fred Bauers at the First Lutheran Church. Dorothy worked at the Donut Kettle in Albert Lea. Dorothy loved reading, embroidery, canning and gardening. Her favorite color was pink.

Dorothy is survived by her niece Sara Evans; nephew Michael (LeeAndra) Evans; and grandnieces Ruby and Cora Evans.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Fred; parents Adolph and Elizabeth; mother-in-law Ruby Bauers; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joanne (Eugene) Evans.
