Donna Mae Frondal

Donna Mae Frondal died Monday, November 20, 2023. A memorial service will be held at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home at 2PM Tuesday, December 5, 2023, with visitation held an hour prior. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery directly following the service. Reverend Kent Otterman will be officiating.

Donna was born August 7, 1936, to Fredrick Riemann and Anna Gollmer in Ellendale, MN where she grew up with her brother Harold. She went to school in Ellendale from kindergarten to the third grade and Albert Lea where she graduated from high school. She spent 15 years working at Land O’Lakes before moving on to work as a nursing assistant at various nursing homes until she retired.

On July 28, 1987, she married Duane Frondal in California. She would often attend bible study at Grace Christian church and would volunteer for the Salvation Army. When she wasn’t busy with that, she enjoyed knitting crocheting, tatting, and embroidery, as well as spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her special kids Curt and Lisa Clark, sons Mark (Deb) Jensen and Glen (Lisa) Villareal, stepsons Barry (Donna) Frondal and Brian Frondal, brothers-in-law Richard Christiansen and William (Sharrie) Frondal, sisters-in-law Jeanette Aarback, Ann, Frondal, and Lois Frondal, neighbor Jim Kopp, and 6 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Duane, parents Fredrick and Anna, brother Harold Reimann, and siblings-in-law Richard Aarback, Charles Frondal, Dale Frondal, Gladys Christiansen, and Roger and Beverly Korn.
