Dennis Allen Buker

Dennis Allen Buker was born on April 14, 1951 to Loren Buker and Rachel Neubauer-Hiers in Waseca, MN. He graduated from Waseca High School and attended 1 year at the Jackson VoTec. Dennis was united in marriage to Kathryn Booen on August 7, 1976 in Waseca, MN. He was self-employed in appliance and refrigeration repair for 26 years and worked for Riverland Community College as a general maintenance worker. He was a past officer of the Albert Lea Elks Lodge #813, a past officer of the 1st District Moose Association, a member of the Austin Elks Lodge #414, Albert Lea Eagles #2258 and the Albert Lea Moose Lodge #1703. Dennis was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Albert Lea and formerly a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waseca. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn of Albert Lea; son, Corey Angie Buker of Hewitt, MN; grandson, Christopher Laust of Hewitt, MN; sisters and brothers, Diane Dave Krienke of Mankato, MN, Steve Renee Buker of Waseca, MN, Ron Marlene Buker of Mankato, MN, Gary Buker of Janesville, MN, and Debra Jack Knish of Owatonna, MN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deanna Bob Mullenbach of Austin, MN, Bonnie Roger Stuart of Altoona, IA, Connie Clay Willey of Pleasant Hills, IA, Susan Bob Hopkins of Des Moines, IA, Michael April Booen of Deer Creek, MN and Gary Karen Booen of St. Cloud, MN; mother and father-in-law, Kenneth and Beverly Booen of Wadena, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter, Farrah; parents, Loren and Rachel, step-father, Don Hiers; brother, Rickey; and nephew, Johnathan Hoffmann. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Crossroads Community Hospice or the Caring Bridge Website.
