Delores Joann Weller

Delores Joann Weller, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at her home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at St. Theodores Catholic Church at 11AM with visitation held an hour prior. Father Kurt Farrell will be officiating.

Delores was born on Sept. 14, 1936 in Waseca MN to Leo and Helen (Johnson) Praxl. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Waseca, MN. Delores was united in matrimony to the love of her life, Richard Weller, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Sept. 21, 1954. Together the couple moved to Albert Lea in 1955.

Delores worked at Enders Tool Co for 28 years and Edward Manual Acting for 8 years. She enjoyed ballroom dancing in Clear Lake and polka in Gibbon, MN. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing, specifically geese in Saskatchewan, upland game in Alberta, and pheasants in South Dakota. Together they shared a cabin at Shell Lake for 6 years.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Helen Praxl and brothers Jack, Jim, and Wayne.

Delores is survived by her husband Richard, sister-in-law Phoebe Praxl, and many nieces and nephews.
