Memorial services for Deby Trytten, age 59 of Albert Lea will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Efflandt will officiate. Deby passed peacefully in her sleep early Saturday, July 11, 2015 at St. Johnâs Lutheran Community.
Debra (Deby) Kay Trytten was born on December 19, 1955 in Albert Lea the daughter of Ferlando (Bud) and Gwen (Faragher) Trytten. Deby grew up in the Glenville, Myrtle area and graduated from Glenville High School in 1974. After graduation Deby attended Austin Community College and Mankato State University. She was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church, Albert Lea and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Myrtle. Over the years Deby was employed by St. Johnâs Lutheran Home, Crest Services, Niteâs Out Lounge and the Emmons Legion.
Before experiencing a major stroke and moving to St. Johnâs Lutheran Community in 2008, Deby was an active member of the Albert Lea Eagles 2258 Auxillary serving as President in 1989-1990. She was also a member of the Eagles Auxillary Ritual and Drill Team. Deby loved traveling with the team to State and National Conventions. During her involvement with the Eagles Deby was active in fundraising for various charities and especially enjoyed helping with organizing events for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Eagles Cancer Fund. Deby loved 50âs and 60âs music and was co-chair of the annual 50âs night at the Eagles. She gave of her time to many other events at the Eagles. Deby also enjoyed sewing, cooking and crafting.
Survivors include, mother, Gwen Trytten, Albert Lea; brother, Ken (Peggy) Trytten, Austin; sister, Leota (Doug) Lind, Albert Lea; sister-in-law, Georgann Trytten, Glenville. Nieces and nephews; Cosy (Todd Kriehn) and Ryan Trytten, Kris, Casey and Zach Lind and Theresa Espelien. Great-nieces and nephews, Deryk and Wyatt Espelien, Hailey and Jerett Kriehn.
Deby was preceded in death by her father, Bud Trytten and brothers, Dick and Paul Trytten
Debyâs family extends their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of 2nd floor North, St. Johnâs Lutheran Community for the care, concern and support they provided to Deby through the years.
Debyâs life at times was difficult and challenging, She is now at peace.
