Cynthia Marie Schwemmler was born December 16, 1951, to Norman and Lorraine Thompson Storvick in Albert Lea. She attended schools in Albert Lea and graduated from Emmons High in 1970. On March 24, 1972, Cindy was united in marriage to Jerry Schwemmler at Trinity Lutheran Church. She received her nurse's training in New Ulm and was employed at St. John's Lutheran Home as an LPN for 31 years. Cindy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and active in the Church circles, bible study, on the Church Council, and helping with Loaves & Fishes. She enjoyed gardening, collecting angels, spending time with her grandchildren, trips with her family and friends, her time spent working at St. John's, cross-stitching, mowing and working at her home, and decorating her home for the change of seasons. Survivors include her husband, Jerry; her sons, Jamie and wife, Angie of Albert Lea and Jason of Rochester; her grandchildren, Morgan and Hannah; her father, Norman Storvick; her mother, Lorraine and husband, Richard Anderson; brother, Stephen and wife, Kim Storvick; sister-in-law, Karen and husband, Mark Nelson of Rochester.; and several nieces and nephews. Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother-in-law and father-in-law. Cindy loved being a nurse and a friend to all. Blessed be her memory.
