Clarice Mae Nesset

Funeral services for Clarice Mae Nesset, age 87, of Albert Lea, will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.  Rev. Don Malinsky will officiate. Interment will be at Sunset Rest Cemetery in Northwood.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences are welcome at www.bayviewfuneral.com.

Clarice died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Clarice Mae Nesset was born May 10, 1930 in Northwood, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Gena (Anderson) Nesset.  She grew up in the Glenville and Albert Lea area, attending Kulsted School.  Clarice enjoyed spending time with family and friends, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved listening and dancing to the music her brother Arlen would play at clubs.  She also enjoyed fishing and cookouts at family gatherings.

Clarice is survived by her daughter, Shelia Daniels; four grandchildren, Angela Lenze, Tim Lenze, Anthony Lenze, and Servando Ramos Flores, Jr.; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Arlen Nesset; sister-in-law, Jay Nesset; and special family friends, Gail Etlick and Jodell Trujillo.

Clarice was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Arlene (Leonard) Williamson, Art Nesset, Telores (Hank) Knutson, Eleanor (Dale) Williamson, Kenny Nesset, Bernice Wikoren, and Alvina (Raymond) Tovar.
