Christiane Scheib

Memorial services for Christiane Scheib, age 68, of Albert Lea will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Salvation Army.  Major Elsie Cline will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Salvation Army.
Christiane died Monday, December 14, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Christiane Scheib was born October 9, 1947 in Heilbronn, Germany, the daughter of Fredrick and Margaret Hensinger.  She grew up in Germany and attended school in Neckergautag, Germany.  On September 19, 1967 Christiane was united in marriage to Stanley W. Scheib in Heilbronn, Germany.  The couple met while Stan was stationed in Germany  serving as military police  in the United States Army.  After Stan’s discharge they moved to Austin before making their home in Albert Lea.  She was a wonderful homemaker  to her husband and mother to her three children.  Christiane was a member/soldier in the Salvation Army and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, traveling, gardening and playing games on her computer.  Most of all she enjoyed time spent with her family.  
Survivors include her husband Stanley; children Barbara Marie Scheib, Sandra Ann Scheib and Richard David Scheib; grandchildren Morgan, Patrick, Joshua and James; great-grandchild Aiden; siblings Karola Hensinger and Fritz (Monica) Hensinger and nieces Andrea Hensinger and  Sandra Hensinger.
Christiane was preceded in death by her parents.
