Charles Henry Stolaas was born on March 11, 1919 in Mondovi, WI, the son of Carl and Henrica (Hatili) Stolaas. He was self-employed as a building contractor. Chuck was passionate about music. He played the accordion in a couple of bands. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his wife and his friends. His faith in the Messiah gave him strength up to the end.
Survivors include: his wife Leola (Schultz), his children Robert (Jeanne) Stolaas of Huntsville, Al, and Victoria (Bruce) Olson of Wisconsin, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Rose Gold, and nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by parents, Clara Thompson (sister), Olga Gulbrandson (sister), and Raymond Stolaas (brother).
