Charlene E. Perleberg

Charlene Perleberg was born October 21, 1928, to Adolph H. and Ida M. Sandman Clasen in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Kelly High School in Chicago and attended the Burroughs School of Business Machines. On January 7, 1950, Charlene was united in marriage to Willard F. "Jack" Perleberg at the Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chicago. She was employed in Quality Assurance for Hudson Foods. Charlene was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Church circles. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, snowmobiling, traveling, and working on photo albums. Survivors include her husband, Willard "Jack" of Glenville; children: Larry and his wife, Okki Perleberg of Rochester, Diane and her husband, Kenneth Lawson of Myrtle, Wayne Perleberg and his fiancee, Cynthia Pappas of Albert Lea, Pauline Perleberg of Albert Lea, William and his wife, Barbara Perleberg of Scottsdale, AZ, Renee and her husband, Rick Horn of Glenville; grandchildren: Jeremy Perleberg, Christine Lawson, Valerie Foss, Aaron Perleberg, Andrea Perleberg, Emily Perleberg, Sara Perleberg, Jacob Montgomery, and Jenna Montgomery; and great-grandchildren: Brooke Lawson, Savannah Shipper, and Austin Foss. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew her.
