Carol Jean Peak was born December 11, 1939, to Clare and Mildred Taylor Stone in Caro, MI. She graduated from Caro High School in 1958 and attended business school in the Twin Cities. Carol worked at the Pentagon in Washington, D. C. where she met her husband, George A. Peak. They were married July 30, 1966 in Caro, MI. Carol was employed in the machine tool field as a clerical worker. She was a member of the Rosemount United Methodist Church. Carol loved crosstitching, sewing, reading, and her family. Survivors include her husband, George of Cannon Falls; children: Sandra Jamie Shape of Farmington, MN, James Peak of Chippewa Falls, WI, and Stacy Peak of Nicollet, MN; grandchildren: Kayla Shape and Kyle Shape; sisters, Shirley Keith Warren of Caro, MI, and Joyce Wood of Kingston, MI; aunts, Ruth Topham of Vassar, MI, and Ruth Taylor of Millington, MI; and cousins, nieces, and nephews in Michigan. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Michael Warren.
