Carl Victor Peterson

Carl Victor Peterson, age 69, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. A funeral service will be held at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 10AM. Visitation shall be held at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 5-7PM and for an hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery. Chaplain Don Malinsky shall be officiating.

Carl was born on July 31, 1955, to Victor and Nancy Peterson in Albert Lea, MN. After graduating from high school Carl entered factory work as a forklift driver for Ventura Foods (formally known as Holsum Foods) retiring in 2020. 

Carl was very loved by family and friends. He was a fun-loving person enjoying joking around, playing games, watching movies, camping, fishing, going to the gym, and working on model cars. Carl was a big supporter of our Veterans and loved animals. Carl was willing to help anyone who was in need. 

Carl is survived by his children; Rebecca (Lucas Fatopolos) Peterson, Jenny (James Vigil) Peterson, Craig (Katy) Peterson, and Michael Peterson; granddaughter Heidi; sisters LaVonne, Randie, Louise, Vicki, and Renae; brothers Mark, Ryan, Brian, and Monty; and special friend Terry Brumley.
