Beulah Mae Isabelle Jesse was born on September 3, 1915 in Lamberton, MN., the daughter of William and Ethel Fraser Miller. She attended and graduated from Britt High School in May 1933. Beulah was united in marriage to Ernest Jesse on December 6, 1936 at First Lutheran Church, Britt, Iowa. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and was a loving wife and mother and touched the hearts of everyone around her. She enjoyed everyone at St. John's Lutheran Home and they enjoyed her very much. Beulah worked as a waitress at Dee's Grill and also the Holiday Inn. She looked forward to seeing her customers and working with people. The one thing she enjoyed the most was a "Whopper" at Burger King with Donna & Robert Nielsen. Survivors include her children; Gary and wife Jane Jesse, Rochester, MN., Gene Jesse and special friend Debbie Proulx, Albert Lea and Roger Jesse and special friend Nancy Nelson, New Prague, MN. Grandchildren; Beth and husband Bob Mehus of Rochester, MN., Dan Jesse of Mpls, MN., Lee Jesse of Albert Lea, Lynn and husband Jim Kelley of Albert Lea. Great-grandchildren; Ian Jesse of Starbuck, MN., Eric Mehus, Sarah Mehus and Allison Mehus of Rochester, MN., and Michael Kelley of Albert Lea. She is also survived by a special niece and her husband, Donna and Robert Nielsen of Albert Lea and also numerous nieces and nephews. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest Jesse in July, 1969, brothers, Virgil and Merle Miller, and one brother, Orville, in infancy. Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Church, Albert Lea.
