Betty Louise Hanson

April 29, 1922 — January 6, 2010

Betty Louise Hanson was born on April 29, 1922 in New London, Connecticut. During World War II she worked at Woolworth's in New London; in 1946 she was united in marriage to Paul O. Hanson and moved to Albert Lea, MN. where they lived for 62 years. Betty worked at Lea College and did volunteer work at grade schools in Albert Lea. She was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to raising her family. She also had a great love of animals, especially her cats. Survivors include her children; Dorothy Robert Huff, Robert Hanson, and Toni Robert Horning. Sisters; Louise Gilbert and Florence Nahlar, brother Louis Judi Peltier, brother-in-law Tony Bonnie Hanson. Seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Paul O. Hanson and daughter Judith Dekle.
