Beatrice Ann Paulson

May 25, 1916 — February 21, 2009

Beatrice A. Paulson was born on May 25, 1916 in Manchester, MN., the daughter of Charles and Hannah Jensen Christensen. She attended Itasca school before moving to Albert Lea where she graduated from the Albert Lea High School in 1934. Beatrice worked at Sanders Drug for a short time and then on January 15, 1944 she was united in marriage to Robert L. Paulson at her parents home in Albert Lea. She was a baptized member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was active in the Sunday School as a teacher, was a member of the church circles and the American Baptist's Women's group. Her most joy came from being a homemaker to her husband and family. Survivors include her son, David and wife Paulette Westland Paulson, Albert Lea, grandson, Nicholas Paulson, Champaign, IL. and granddaughter, Betsy and husband Nathan Smith, Waterloo, IA. Sisters, Dorothy Farnham and Helen Coonradt of Albert Lea. Sister-in-law, Erliss and husband Roland Kelzenberg, Owatonna, MN. Several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son, Steven, brother, Paul in infancy, sisters, Shirley Imme and Eunice Jensen, brothers-in-law, Les Sorensen, Red Imme, Alva Jensen, Ken Coonradt and Blair Farnham. Beatrice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
