Beatrice Johnson

Beatrice Johnson was born July 23, 1926, to August F. and Ricka Behr Lembke near Conger. She was baptized, confirmed, and married at the Pickerel Lake Concordia Lutheran Church. On June 7, 1945, Beatrice was united in marriage to Stanley H. Johnson. The couple lived on the Johnson family farm near Twin Lakes until five years ago when they moved to Albert Lea. Stanley died November 16, 2003. Beatrice had worked with Stanley on the farm and also at Johnson Laundry in Albert Lea, Deluxe Filters in Lake Mills, and Cornick Nursing Home in Albert Lea. She was an active member of Lunder Lutheran Church, its Ruth/Naomi Circle, and Twin Lakes Senior Citizens. Survivors include her children, Dale and his wife, Nancy Johnson of Shorewood and Carol Kallberg of Albert Lea; daughter-in-law, Patricia Johnson of St. Michael, MN; grandchildren: Jason and his wife, Rebekah Clark, Brian Johnson, Adrienne Clark and her friend, Chuck Paczkowski; Melissa and her husband, Damian Chapman, and Alan Johnson; great-grandchild, Jaden Clark; sister, Gertrude Stalhiem; sisters-in-law: Velura Lembke, Neva Lembke, and Ruth and her husband, Hilliard Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; her parents, August and Ricka Lembke; children, Sylvia and Scott in infancy and Wayne in 1975; son-in-law, Maurice Kallberg; sisters, Minnie Wittmer and her husband, Ernest and Viola Stiebler and her husband, Otto; brothers: Frank and his first wife, Ruby, August and his wife, Bernice, and Alfred; sister-in-law, Edith and her husband, Glen Olson; and brothers-in-law, Kenton Stalhiem and Iver M. Johnson and his wife, Marion.
