Arnold Carl Broitzman

Arnold Carl Broitzman was born on January 16, 1920 in Freeborn County, the son of Robert and Marie Ziebell Broitzman. He was a lifelong resident of southern Freeborn County. Arnold was baptized and confirmed at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He went to country school in Myrtle and was a farmer all his working life. In addition to his church, Arnold was a member of the Glenville Senior Citizens, and the Dartball Brotherhood at Bethlehem Lutheran. He enjoyed sports, playing games, cards, and hunting in his younger years. Survivors include his stepsister Luetta Mittag Wolff of Chandler, AZ, stepbrother Wilbur and his wife Evelyn Mittag of Austin, stepsister-in-law Pearl Mittag of Albert Lea; and many cousins. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, stepmother Olga Mittag Broitzman, stepbrothers Luverne Mittag and Galen Mittag, and stepbrother-in-law Edward Wolff.
