Arling Jewell Larson

Funeral services for Arling Jewell Larson, age 92 of Emmons, Mn. will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at  Emmons Lutheran Church. Rev Christopher Martin will officiate.  Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery west of Emmons, Mn.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church.

Arling died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at St John’s Lutheran Community in Albert Lea, Mn.

Arling Jewell was born May 31, 1923 to Henry Larson and Rose (Olson) Larson. Arling grew up in the Emmons, Mn area where he farmed and worked at Streaters in Albert Lea where he retired in 1988.

On April 28, 1944 Arling was united in marriage to Madeline Corrina Peterson at Mansfield Lutheran Church.

Survivors include their children Wayne (Amy) Larson, Albert Lea, Mn, Allan (Linda) Larson, Lake Mills, Ia and Gary (Cathy) Larson, Ramsey, Mn; grandchildren Racheal Larson, Brian (Annette) Larson, Bruce Larson, Trisha Larson, LuAnn (Kyle) Mannes, Pamela ( Jeremy) Ballard and Cindy (Brian) Ripsin along with 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; sister's-in-law Arlene Schreiber, Deloris Hemmingsen, and brother-in-law Roland Toenges

Arling was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Rose and Wife Madeline in 1990 a sister-in-law Perneal Toenges, brother's-in-law Dale Hemmingsen and Jerry Schreiber.
