Anna Josephine Johnson was born March 25, 1916 to James and Josephine (Kycek) Saman in Hayward Township. Anna attended school in London Township and worked at various places. On September 25, 1946 Anna was united in marriage to Maynard Johnson at the Hayward Parsonage. She and her husband farmed in the London area for many years. After their retirement they moved to Myrtle. Anna was a homemaker and enjoyed baking and cooking, she was well known for her kolaches. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading and gardening. Anna was a member of Trondjem Lutheran Church where she was a part of church circle.
Survivors include her daughter Kathleen Flanary and special friend Mike Hollman of Richfield; grandchildren James (Bridgett) Flanary of Germantown, WI and Melissa (Ryan) Wiste of Northfield; great-grandchildren Joseph, Breanna and Britney Flanary; and several nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband Maynard; son-in-law Joseph Flanary; sister Margaret Ziebell and brothers Tony, James and Ludvik Saman.
