Alfonsa Tovar

Alfonsa Tovar was born on January 23, 1937 to Jesus Tovar and Francisca Orta in Tampico, Tamps, Mexico. She grew up and attended school in Mexico. Alfonsa married Enrique Murillo in Mexico where she spent most of her life. After her husband died she came to Albert Lea to be closer to her family. She was a member of the Church of St. Theodore. Alfonsa enjoyed scratch game lottery tickets, crossword puzzles and cooking. She always offered a meal to any guest who stopped by. Alfonsa was very hospitable, generous and was a loving mother and grandmother. She was always there to care for her grandchildren with open arms. Survivors include her 3 children; 5 grandchildren; 6 brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews here and back in Mexico. Alfonsa was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Enrique.
