Agnes Lorraine Prantner

Agnes Lorraine Prantner was born on February 24, 1933 to Selmer and Myrtle Landaas Peterson in Freeborn County. She grew up in the Emmons and Lake Mills area and attended elementary school in Emmons and graduated from Lake Mills High School. Aggie was united in marriage to Roger Prantner on November 2, 1952 at Silver Lake Lutheran Church. Roger and Aggie made their home in rural Glenville. Aggie was employed for 32 years as the Elementary School Secretary in the Glenville School district. Aggie was a member of First Lutheran Church of Glenville and was active in FLCW. She was a very active member of her community. Aggie was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliary, Glenville Women of Today, Sunset Saddle Club, 4-H leader, Cub Scout leader, and Greenwood Club. She enjoyed painting, knitting, sewing, crafting and golf. Aggie loved to travel and also enjoyed going to casinos and the theater. Most of all she loved attending all the important events of her grandchildren's lives and birth of her great-grandchildren. Aggie was well known for the care she gave to the children of Glenville schools, she loved telling stories and following the lives of all the children that attended elementary school throughout her career. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband, Roger; children, Pat Senholtz of Rush City, Douglas Phyllis Prantner of Litchfield, and Paula Dan Stadin of Sandstone; grandchildren, Matt Amy Senholtz, Joe Kris Senholtz, Mike Senholtz, Janna Senholtz, Jamie Neal Carolan, Craig Prantner, and Andrew Stadin; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Aaron, Alex, Savannah and Adam; sisters and brothers, Merlin Mary Peterson of Albert Lea, Harriet Green of Louisville, KY, Mary Dean Poole of Albert Lea, and Jim Kathy Peterson of Hartland; brother-in-law, Claire Jean Willadsen of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Sandy Neumann of New Richland; uncle, Alfred Mary Landaas; aunts, Dorothy Reyerson, Margaret Severson, Dena Peterson, Harriet Wangen, Solveig Peterson and Vangie Landaas; many nieces and nephews. Aggie was preceded in death by her parents, Selmer and Myrtle Peterson; brothers, Roger in infancy and Dale Peterson; nephews, Gene Poole and Woody Peterson; and brother-in-law, David Green.
