Agnes Miranda Luella Jacobson was born May 6, 1912, to Carl M. and Josephine M. Ramsey Anderson in Riceland Township. She attended District #26 School. On September 12, 1934, Agnes was united in marriage to Irvin Chester Jacobson at East Freeborn Lutheran Church. After his death, she married Clarence Jacobson September 1, 1984, at North Freeborn Lutheran Church. Agnes was a member of North Freeborn Lutheran Church where she was active in Altar Guild, Choir, Circle, and the Church Women. She became a member of Central Freeborn Lutheran Church when the churches merged. Agnes was a cook at St. John's for 20 years. She was also a member of the Sons of Norway and the Senior Citizens Bowling and loved flowers, cooking, entertaining, and traveling. Survivors include her children: Roger and his wife Jackie Jacobson of Oakland, Karen and her husband Darryl Flim of Albert Lea; and Shirley and her husband Gary VandeBrake of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren: Leora, Clayton, Brian, Jeff, Duane, Michelle, Jonathan, Todd, and Dean; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Clarence and his wife Arvilla Anderson and Kenneth and his wife Sarah Anderson; sisters-in-law, Ruth and Alice; brother-in-law, Carroll; and several nieces and nephews. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Irvin and Clarence; and sisters, Leila and Dorothy.
