Agnes T. Anderson

Agnes T. Anderson was born on Sept. 8, 1909 Garden City, Iowa the daughter of Tom and Lena Larson. She attended rural school in Garden City. On July 17, 1933 Agnes was united in marriage to Artie C. Anderson. Agnes and her family moved to Albert Lea in 1955 from Blue Earth, MN. She worked at Johnson's Laundry and Swen's Danish Bakery. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Agnes enjoyed sewing for the children, needlework, crafts especially making jewelry trees. She made many beautiful birthday and wedding cakes and her mints and lefse will be missed. Survivors include her children; Donna Olsen, Austin, MN., Jane and husband Harris Hillman, Gordonsville and LaVerne and wife Karin Anderson, Rochester. Grandchildren; Loren Kroenke, Randy and wife Sharon Kroenke, Julie Follmuth, David and wife Michele Olsen, Sarah and husband Wayne Barber, Carol and husband Jeff Quast, Brian Olsen and companion Jody Maiden, Paul and wife Stacey Hillman, Debie and husband Don Malm, Kim and husband Mark Goodnature, Jim Anderson, Joe Anderson and Kelly and husband Ken Moyer. 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Thelma Oelke, Meza, Arizona and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband Artie, daughter, Arlene and son-in-law Bud Kroenke, son-in-law, Alton Olsen, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
