Adelaine Martha Dahl

Adeline Martha Dahl was born on October 16, 1913, to Ed and Therese Theodores Peterson in Lake Mills, IA. She attended her years of school in Lake Mills graduating in 1931. After graduation, she worked in a grocery store in Lake Mills. On June 30, 1934, she was united in marriage to Kenneth H. Dahl in Forest City, IA. They lived their entire married life, 71 years together, in Albert Lea, MN. Adeline was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was faithful in Sunday school, church, helped in the Awana program and various other ways. She loved her church and church family. Adeline was a homemaker and worked part time at Wayne's Grocery in Albert Lea. She was happy being a homemaker and enjoyed going up north in the summer and to the Ozarks in the fall with Ken and special friends. Survivors include her son, Thomas and wife Lynda Dahl of Albert Lea, grandsons, Blane of Vienna, VA and Brent Dahl of Albert Lea; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Ethan and Anna of Albert Lea. She dearly loved each one, treasured the time she spent with them, and prayed for them daily; many nieces and nephews. Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth; sisters, Ethel, Gladys and Margaret and 2 sisters in infancy; brothers Russell, Theodore and Roy, all of Iowa; sister-in-law, Velma Dahl of Madelia.
